I will read your draft or the portion of your draft that you choose, and then suggest organization and flow through a document that will include questions, suggestions, and criticism for you to consider as you proceed.

         Cost – $12.50 per 15 minutes or any part thereof*

Line editing 

If you are looking for feedback on your writing and how to improve it, line editing provides creative feedback on wording for clarity, polish, and punch before copy editing takes place. This stage of editing includes formatting, and I provide these edits and suggestions in Microsoft Word's Track Changes feature for you to review.

Cost – $12.50 per 15 minutes or any part thereof*

Copy editing 

After content and line editing is complete, copy editing involves checking every keystroke to be sure your manuscript is in pristine condition for publishing. Copy edits are provided in Microsoft Word's Track Changes feature. This service does not include creative feedback.

         Cost – $.04 - $.10 per word**

Proofreading 

A manuscript review to check grammar, punctuation, spelling, spacing, and formatting; a broad overview that is usually sought as a last step before publishing. Proofreading edits are provided in Microsoft Word's Track Changes feature. This service does not include creative feedback.

         Cost – $.02 - $.06 per word**

When you provide your project description, I will ask to review a small sample of your writing and then quote a price based on a formula that takes into consideration the length and complexity of the material.

What happens after I send a project description?
